Welcome to my little web site. I am an engineer doing contract work in the oil-related industry, mostly designing structural steel and pressure vessels. I also spent many years doing Fortran engineering programming, but do very little of that anymore.

My latest hobby is radio controlled electric aircraft. I also enjoy playing chess and drinking beer, but if I do both at the same time my chess playing suffers considerably! ;-) Another little hobby of mine is playing around with blowguns and making my own custom darts. While blowguns are great fun and make an inexpensive hobby that easily can be used for indoor target shooting, I do not condone killing any living creature unless it's for food or for exterminating vermin.

I also am a supporter of gun ownership rights granted to us under the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. It's not the gun that kills; it's the person using the gun! And, after seeing the devastating effects of Alzheimer's disease on my father, I'm a strong supporter of stem cell research or any other method that may help treat or eradicate this terrible disease.

The latest music I've discovered is that of Bill Mumy. Yep - that's Will Robinson from the old Lost In Space TV show of the 60's. His music is amazing and I encourage you to check it out!
